Lakeland was installing new fiber on the main road, at which point the neighborhood banded together and requested they come into the subdivision. Lakeland agreed to the expansion and proceeded. Even though from the time they agreed to install the fiber to the time it was installed, prices of everything went up, they held to their quoted fiber drop prices and the scheduling of the installs began.
Five days before the cutover was scheduled to happen, our existing provider cut-off service to us. Since my wife works remotely, we needed to get service immediately. Lakeland rearranged their work schedule that morning and were down to our house by midday to switch us over to their service. My wife was able to complete her day working remotely.
The customer service I have received so far has been outstanding and the improved internet speed has been great. We now have a 100% fiber-optic network built to our home and an in-home lightning-fast managed Wi-Fi network.
